I have learned in the third discussion that there is
a process on how the information will stored into our memory. The first one who
will receive the information was the sensory registers whose function was to
receive the big amount of information from the senses and holds it for a very
short time for initial process that will transfer to short term memory. It is
the liable for discarding and connecting to the other information for a long
time period and it integrates and will be used every time we need it.
It was also discussed that there are two theories
that can be applied in the classroom teaching namely the information processing
theory and the commulative learning theory. These two theories are very
important especially when we are teaching in the classroom. It is a great
advantage for us because we have learned some techniques on how to teach. We
are aware to the things what we should do.
It
was also discussed by the 4th reporter regarding the meaningful
learning theory and the Condition of Learning. The meaningful learning theory
is the new information that can relate on what learners already knows. In
short, we have already knowledge with the certain topic and we as the learners connecting
our knowledge to the new information that we learned. And as we learned, we can
relate it through a situation and we can get additional learning’s from that
experience. When we say Conditioning of Learning it concerned with the
motivation to learn, to retain newly information that relates to the learners what
already knows and to transfer you’re learning in a situation.
