"Taxonomy on Educational Objectives"

According to the reporter Mr. Vic Onod taxonomy was defined as the practice or principle of classification while objectives were known as goal or purpose.

There are three classifications of objectives these are the cognitive domain, affective domain and psychomotor domain. These three domains are very important in learning process of our students. When we say cognitive domain it emphasizes on the intellectual learning and problem solving tasks. There are terms that are appropriate on this domain.

The second domain was effective domain it contains the behavior and objectives that have some emotional overtones.it compromises the likes and dislikes, attitudes, values and beliefs. And the last domain was psychomotor domain it is more on the application of the lessons. It is merely on the performance of the students.

The three domains that was mention above should present in our objectives especially on making lesson plans or even on the syllabus. There are terms that re appropriate on making different domains. If we apply these domains it has a great advantage for us and also on the students. And the teacher can gain techniques on how they can handle their students and also how they can impart their knowledge to them.
